Translational Resources to Enhance Commercialization Success (TRECS)

UPDATE--The TRECS meeting originally planned for May 19-20, 2020 has been cancelled due to the rapidly evolving COVID-19 situation. Unfortunately, they are not able to reformat this workshop as a virtual event and have cancelled, with plans to host the Translational Resources to Expedite Commercialization (TRECS) workshop in the spring/summer of 2021. Details will be updated as they become available.

The NCI SBIR Development Center will host its fourth Translational Resources to Enhance Commercialization Success (TRECS) workshop on May 19 & 20, 2020 at the NCI building, Shady Grove.  The workshop is open to all NCI SBIR funded companies and provides the companies with an opportunity to learn how to utilize federal and non-federal resources to advance commercialization and to network with other awardees, other NCI programs and speakers. The workshop brings together representatives from federal agencies including the FDA, CMS, NSF, DOD, and BARDA, as well as experts from private organizations like pharma, med-tech, VC firms and local bio agencies to share their expertise with attending companies. NCI SBIR will also facilitate 15-minute one-on-one meetings between attendees and panelists and with their Program Directors.  More details on the workshop will be uploaded soon.

About 120 companies attended the last workshop in 2018. More details on the 2018 workshop can be found here:

NCL will present in the NIH Panel: Resources and Collaborative Programs at NIH, as well as participate in the one-on-one meeting with companies. Let us know if you plan on attending and would like to meet.
