Research Associate I, Physicochemical Characterization
Cassandra Mankus joined the NCL in July 2016. She works in support of the physicochemical characterization of nanoparticles.
Cassie earned her B.S. in Engineering Science with a concentration in Nanomedicine Engineering from the University of Virginia in May 2014. After graduating, she worked for two years at the Air Force Research Laboratory as a Research Engineer for the Biomolecular Interactions of Nanomaterials group, performing characterization of nanoparticles and serving as lab manager, while also pursuing her own research interests in microfluidics.
